Spatial structure and aggregation of carbon allotrope nanofillers in isotactic polypropylene composites studied by small-angle neutron scattering

We study the aggregation of carbon allotrope nanofillers in matrix isotactic polypropylene with direct small-angle neutron scattering measurements. With ATSAS software, we analyzed data and determined fractal shape, dimension, sizes nanofiller bulk over range angles. estimated volume distributions different types at concentrations: nanographite, graphene nanoplatelets (GNP), fullerenes, single-walled nanotubes (SWCNT), multi-walled (MWCNT) binary fillers MWCNT/GNP. reconstructed shape nanoscale particles aggregates a few SWCNT, MWCNT MWCNT/GNP found that systems are polydisperse; associate as dense rugged surface, their exceeding original dimensions several times.
